We were contacted by a parent who told us that his child had a Rehadapt mount on his wheelchair. He told us that while it was very successful, he wanted more from it. He wanted to be able to remove the entire arm from the wheelchair and somehow attached it to a rolling mount. He explained that the switches that controlled the system were all attached to the mount in the ideal position for the user. We started with a standard Penta rolling frame and the most basic post. Rehadapt make a 45mm base that fits the post and we added a standard swingaway joint. Now the users support person can lift the mount of the wheelchair complete with the switches and place it on a height adjustable location on the post. This was so successful in home use that a second rolling frame is on it’s way to the users school.
