What actually happens when you order a custom mount
Here is my process from first call to a mounted, working device.
- You contact me with your device and chair details. If you don’t have the measurements, I walk you through taking them, or I coordinate with your OT or seating clinic.
- I confirm the Rehadapt series, arm length, and clamp size for your setup. For eye gaze users I confirm the screen-to-eye distance your device manufacturer specifies.
- I supply the mount and hardware. Goods arrive here in Vancouver usually within two weeks of your placing an order. I reship them the next day and they arrive at your location ususally within three working days.
- Fitting and adjustment. We are available to help with the instalation by video conferencing.
- Final positioning. The mount is set so it returns to the same spot after being swung away, so calibration holds day to day.

If you’re working through an occupational therapist, speech-language pathologist, or a seating clinic, I supply the quotes and documentation they need for your funding request.
